July Parade 2011

When preparing the photographs for the Parade during the Festival in July,
the thing that strikes one most is the variety.
The variety in colour, in floats in the parade,
the variety in age-groups of the spectators from very young to not-so-young,
and the ideas that people come up with year after year for the entries for this parade.
Maybe this is why year after year the crowds come out to see the parade
and to marvel at the efforts of the entrants.
